At Griffith University, she was instrumental in re-developing the accounting unit for non-accounting students and significantly increased the pass rate in that unit.

While at the University of Canberra, Mrs Clark received a Vice Chancellor's award for outstanding achievement in innovative teaching. Her teaching career has also included seminar presentations and mentoring to her colleagues as well as mentoring high school business students.

Mrs Clark has published in the areas of teaching and auditing. Her successful teaching career was enhanced by her professional experience with Price Waterhouse, Pizza Hut Inc and the state government. Mrs Clark is a CPA, in both Australia and the USA, and for several years marked national CPA exams in Australia and consults in educational services.
