Brighter Agyemang is a Lecturer in Computer Science with expertise in artificial intelligence, software engineering, multi-agent systems, and drug discovery. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that includes Algorithms & Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering-related units, database systems, and Big Data Analytics across institutions in Australia and Ghana. His teaching emphasises practical application, inclusive learning, and student engagement through hands-on activities and real-world projects.
In addition to lecturing, Brighter has worked in the industry as a Software Engineer and a co-cofounder of an IT consultancy where he led the development of enterprise software systems. He is an active academic researcher with interests in Multi-Agent Systems, Reinforcement Learning, Internet of Things, and Cheminformatics. His research has produced several peer-reviewed publications on key topics in the aforementioned areas, and he actively contributes to open-source projects and academic peer review.
His passion lies in bridging theory and practice to prepare students for impactful careers in computing.
