As an Academy devoted to education for the professions, it is crucial that NAPS bridge the gap between
theory and practice, ensure that its courses are up-to-date and responsive to current developments; and
nurture professional links that will benefit the experiential learning and career placement opportunities for
our students and graduates.

The Industry Consultative Committee provides a forum whereby members from industry, employers and
the community come together with NAPS team members to provide high level advice to the Academy
about courses, teaching, scholarship/research, and professional and community engagement.
The Industry Consultative Committee serves these general purposes and Heads of School will involve
Committee members in various roles to achieve these ends.
