Dr Ehsan Saeedi is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence with over ten years of university teaching and research experience across Australia and Iran. He currently teaches at Charles Sturt University, Sydney, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in Network Security, Digital Forensics, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
Dr Saeedi holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Macquarie University, where his research focused on analysing security vulnerabilities in cryptographic algorithms using machine learning and deep neural networks. He also holds a Master’s degree in Mechatronics and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
His teaching and research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cryptography, Data Analytics, and Secure Systems. Throughout his academic career, he has developed curricula, designed assessments and laboratory activities, and supervised student research projects in AI and cybersecurity.
Dr Saeedi has published more than 16 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers in areas including deep learning, cryptographic security, elliptic curve cryptography, and medical image analysis. He is passionate about bridging the gap between theory and practice by incorporating real-world applications and hands-on experiences into his teaching and supporting students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
