Dr Hussein Almuslehi is an experienced academic and IT professional with over five years of teaching experience in higher education and more than seven years of industry experience in IT and telecommunications. He holds a PhD in Computing from Universiti Utara Malaysia and has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Cybersecurity, Big Data, Programming, Project Management, Systems Analysis and Design, and Data Analytics.

Dr Almuslehi has published more than ten indexed research papers and actively supervises postgraduate research in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity. Alongside his academic work, he has practical industry experience in IT support, fibre optic technologies, and systems engineering in Australia and internationally.

His academic and industry background allows him to integrate real-world experience into his teaching, supporting students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills.
