Dr. Nasir holds a PhD (fully funded scholarship) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Auckland University of Technology. His academic experience spans Creative Technology, Human-Centric Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Creative Entrepreneurship, Cybersecurity, and both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has extensive experience teaching first- and final-year courses, honours projects, and specialised Cybersecurity subjects, including network security, cryptography, digital forensics, web and infrastructure security, and application/software security. These areas complement university programs in software engineering, networked systems, and security technologies.
 
He also served as a member of the Teaching, Academic Review, and Education Development Committees at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Dr. Nisar is actively involved in Computer Science research with a strong focus on Education Innovation. Dr. Kashif Nisar was also honoured with the Best Lecturer Dean’s Award at Swinburne University of Technology. 
 
He has published more than 200 research papers in high-impact journals and internationally reputed conference proceedings in computing technologies and computer networks. He is a member of several professional organisations from academia and industry, including Australian Computer Society, Australian Information Security Association, Engineers Australia, APNIC, Institution of Engineering and Technology, Association for Computing Machinery, IEEE, Internet Society, IAENG, APAN, and International Telecommunication Union.
