Hediye Ozdemir has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education across teaching, leadership, and educator mentoring roles. She holds a Master of Education and Professional Studies Research, a Master of Inclusive Education, and a Bachelor of Education (Birth–5 Years). Her work focuses on inclusive education and research-informed practice in early childhood settings. 

Hediye teaches in Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) programs and supports pre-service teachers through teaching, assessment, mentoring, and professional discussions. She aims to create engaging learning environments that connect theoretical knowledge with practice in early childhood education contexts. 

Her professional interests include inclusive practice, reflective teaching, and supporting educators to develop high-quality learning environments aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF). She is also a NESA Supervisor, supporting teacher accreditation and professional development for educators in New South Wales.
