Dr Mary Amponsah is an applied economists, researcher and lecturer with more than ten years of experience in academia, research, and the public sector. She has held roles in both public and private higher education institutions as a teaching and research assistant and academic lecturer. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and has extensive teaching, supervision and research experience across Australian and international higher education contexts. Her research focuses on inclusive growth, poverty reduction, income inequality, financial development, sustainability, institutional quality and the role of digital finance in advancing social and economic outcomes. Dr Mary Amponsah has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, including high-ranked outlets in economics, energy, sustainability, tourism and public policy, and has contributed to interdisciplinary research on migrant and refugee communities, consumer behaviour and workforce inclusion. She is committed to research-informed teaching, student mentoring and applied research that supports evidence-based policy, sustainable development and inclusive economic growth. Known for her professionalism and commitment to quality, Mary brings a solution-oriented approach to research, teaching, statistical analysis, and assigned responsibilities.
