Bethany Yu is a highly accomplished Early Childhood Education (ECE) leader and academic, joining the National Academy of Professional Studies (NAPS) as a Lecturer. She brings over 20 years of experience in the ECE sector, specialising in driving quality improvement, curriculum development, and pedagogical innovation across diverse services. Her expertise is centred on translating complex educational theory and regulatory standards into practical, sustainable outcomes for developing high-quality ECE practice.
Bethany holds a Master of Educational Leadership (University of NSW), a Bachelor of Education (Birth to Five Years), and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This strong foundation is complemented by her current roles as an Academic at TAFE Higher Education NSW and as an ECT Mentor at the University of Sydney, where she guides students through their professional experience, bridging the gap between university coursework and real-world practice.
Bethany is recognised for her professional contributions, as a passionate advocate and thought leader, including founding the Inclusive Thrive Community and authoring the article "Our Philosophy, Our Anchor" in Early Childhood Australia’s Every Child journal.
