Ms Rania Darwish has a background in Law, Business and Accounting.  She is a specialist in Corporate Governance and Economic Development in Less Developed and Developing Countries.  She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the Faculty of Commerce in Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt where she also obtained an Accounting Major in her Bachelor’s degree.  She taught (Business Law) at the Paris-Sorbonne in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Financial Accounting (graduate level) at the Al Ain University of Science and Technology Faculty of BusinessAdministration in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She has also served in risk management and legal consultancy positions in the United Arab Emirates and in Egypt.  She is fluent in Arabic and French.  She teaches LAW101 Business Law; LAW 201, Corporations Law; Law 301 International Business Transactions; and LAW 203 Contractual Obligations in Shari'ah.
