Ms Remy Maroc has returned home to Australia after 14 years in the United States to work as a consultant with one of this nation’s largest recruiting firms, Hudson. She specialises in recruiting talent in the Accounting & Finance sector.

Ms Maroc is especially keen on helping to ensure NAPS can equip our graduates with the skills and understanding that they will need to launch successful, global careers in either major firms or with fast-growing, online small businesses in today’s competitive marketplace.

Ms Maroc has significant expertise in online business development including social media marketing having spent the last eight years contributing to the growth and success of Yelp. Yelp is a publicly traded company that is now the largest business directory in the USA with over 160 million unique visitors each month.

In roles including the Yelp Senior Sales Manager & Hiring Manager, Ms Maroc and her team advised local businesses across the US on the best ways to grow their business through marketing and advertising, especially taking advantage of social media. She also coached and led her team to achieve outstanding results and advance their individual career development. As well as being a top Account Executive at Yelp, she helped to establish Yelp’s Chicago office and was involved in the Yelp Leadership Development Program and Women at Yelp group.

Ms Maroc has a Business Management and Marketing degree, with a minor in International Business, from Montana State University, USA. At the university, she was also President of the International Business Club and Member of the Student Advisory Board for the College of Business, a peer career development program.
