Rex Zhang is a Sydney-based social work educator and community consultant whose work bridges education, cultural health, and social justice advocacy. He brings a strong foundation in community-led practice, intersectional analysis, and trauma-informed approaches.
 
Rex has led some of the most established and culturally significant initiatives supporting LGBTQ+ and CALD communities, including the design and facilitation of peer-led health promotion and leadership programs. His work has extended to statewide multicultural engagement strategies and the development of culturally safe group models tailored to emerging community needs.
 
In the policy and systems space, Rex has been a vocal advocate for international students during moments of crisis and transition, contributing to sector-wide dialogue on equity, safety, and recognition. His insights have been shared at conferences and community forums across health, education, and human rights sectors.
 
Through teaching and supervision, Rex supports emerging practitioners to engage ethically, critically, and creatively across diverse social work settings.
